M BORIS JOHNSON TO GO BACK TO WORK: Government officials are updating the press and the public on the United Kingdom’s efforts to combat the novel coronavirus outbreak. Yesterday Britain passed 20,000 coronavirus deaths across the country, with Interior Minister Priti Patel describing it as ‘a tragic and terrible milestone.’ As the UK now has the fifth highest death toll of any country around the world, and sixth highest in total number of cases with almost 150,000, PM Boris Johnson will be returning to work tomorrow after his own battle with coronavirus. Foreign Sec. Dominic Raab, who has been running the country in Johnson’s absence, told BBC that he hopes the Prime Minister’s return will be a ‘boost for the government and a boost for the country’ as it continues its battle against COVID-19.
